Brea

  • Octopus Japanese Restaurant: Octopus has some great happy hour deals. They have a regular Happy Hour Mon-Fri 3pm-6pm, or you can go for the "Reverse" Happy Hour Sun-Thurs 9pm-Close (they tend to start closing around 10 or 10:30 though so get there right at 9 to enjoy). Their happy hour offers delicious appetizers about 1/2 price, 50% off premium rolls, and great drink specials such as the "Sumo Bomb" (small Japanese beer + small sake) for $3.75. Newport

  • Newport Landing: Newport Landing offers a fantastic $3 Happy Hour Monday-Friday 4-7 pm. The happy hour menu includes $3 domestic beers, $3 house wine, and a $3 food menu. The happy hour food menu includes some tasty choices such as the coconut shrimp, the fried zucchini, and the 2 oysters on ice. Happy hour is only offered upstairs in the bar and can get pretty crowded so be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table. Check out the happy hour menu here.
