One Stop Liquor

Okay so I hadn't planned on reviewing any liquor stores for Dive Life, but this one is worth it. I have been driving past this liquor store on the corner of Whittier Blvd. and Hillside in La Habra for some time, noticing the sign boasting "the biggest selection of craft beers" and wondering if there was any truth to that claim. Honestly I never noticed a name for the place but according to my Google search it is called One Stop Liquor, even though I believe the sign in the parking lot says different...

All that aside, we finally checked it out and they do indeed have a great selection of craft beers. In fact, we have been there twice now. In addition to the great selection of six packs, you can also buy single beers or create your own six pack, which is awesome if you want to try something new. So far we have gotten six packs of Lagunitas Little Sumpin' Sumpin Ale and Full Sail IPA, as well as singles of a couple other IPAs that we had not heard of before.

The guy working the cash register both times we went (I assume him to be the owner) is also a pretty colorful character, and the customers we saw seem to be regulars that he knows by name. The prices are about normal for craft beers, starting around $9.99 for a six pack and $1.99 for a single bottle. The place looks like any other shady, La Habra liquor store but check it out if you're looking for a decent selection of independent, craft brews- I don't think you'll be disappointed!
